Author: ladybugkay
Fandom: Supernatural
Pairing: Dean/Castiel
Rating: PG
Word Count: 1472
Warnings: future!fic; and, um, kind of a death fic, but we all know that “death cannot stop true love.”
Summary: Years later, after it’s all over, Dean still likes to sit on a bench in a park.
Disclaimer: Eric Kripke and WarnerBrothers and the CW all own the rights to the show and the characters. But I wrote this fic.
Note: Title from Beyoncé’s “Halo,” with which I might be a little obsessed. demon_faith, this is for you, on the occasion (a while back) of your birthday. You asked for Dean/Castiel and “rescue,” and this…has very little to do with rescue. *sighs* I hope you enjoy it anyway.
( No one asks his name, but the children call him Dean, and in spite of appearances, he is no harmless old man, no weak and toothless senior citizen with a wandering mind and rambling tales of fairies and leprechauns. )

Author: ladybugkay
Fandom: Supernatural
Pairing: Dean/Castiel (well, it's gen, but with future Dean/Castiel in my head)
Rating: PG-13
Word Count: 2311
Warnings/Spoilers: If you've seen through "In The Beginning," you're good. Also, this isn't entirely consistent with canon.
Summary: Mary told Dean every night before he went to sleep that angels were watching over him. This is how she knew.
Disclaimer: Well, Eric Kripke, WarnerBrothers and the CW all own the rights to the characters and the show, but I own this notion and the words describing it. Even though I make no money from it.
Note: A bit of fic to dip my toe back in after far too long away. It's not very good, but it's something I've wondered about. Title from Jewel's song of the same name.
( For the first time since she married John, Mary regrets letting her old life go. )

Title: Look Down From the Sky
Author: ladybugkay
Fandom: Supernatural
Pairing: Dean/Castiel (um, pre-pre-pre-slash)
Rating: PG-13
Word Count: 437
Spoilers: just for 4x01, really
Summary: When it comes to Dean, Castiel isn't like the other angels
Disclaimer: Kripke owns all, but I'm sure he gets a kick out of fic writers slaving away over his creations for no pay whatsoever.
A/N: I love this pairing, but for some reason, this is only the second thing I've written for them, and it barely counts as anything, given its puny word count and the lack of quality in the writing. One day, I will write these two something good. Oh, and the title comes from "Away in a Manger," but you probably already knew that. If that offends you right off the bat, back away quickly.
( Castiel was there. )
