Title: This Will Be
Author: ladybugkay
Fandom: Smallville
Pairing: Clark/Lois (one of 2 het ships I actually write)
Rating: PG-13
Word Count: 1836
Spoilers/Warnings: extensive spoilers for “Crossfire”
Summary: It’s the start of something, and she thinks it might be something good.
Disclaimer: DC Comics, Gough and Millar, and whoever else, now (I can’t keep track), own the rights and make the money. I write fic for my own amusement.
A/N: I should have given up on this show years ago, but these two right here, their interactions and evolving relationship, are the reason I’m still hanging in there, even if it’s only by my fingernails. Title from the song “This Will Be (An Everlasting Love).”

Not how she wanted this night to go, especially just as she had finally managed to get Clark to flirt with her.  )

Title: Pick Yourself Up; Dust Yourself Off; Start All Over Again
Author: ladybugkay
Fandom: Smallville
Pairing: Clark/Oliver (pre-slash)
Rating: PG-13
Word Count: 1492
Spoilers/Warnings: post 8x09 "Abyss." Shameless wallowing and angst, because Clark is just so pretty like that.
Summary: Clark is brooding again, but he's doing it somewhere new. Change is come at last.
Disclaimer: DC, Gough & Millar, whoever the new producers are, and who knows how many others own the rights and make the money.
A/N: Title from the song  "Pick Yourself Up," with lyrics by Dorothy Fields and music by Jerome Kern.
A/N2: Written way too quickly and not very well at all, but it's the first thing I've had time to write in ages, and I'm posting the damned thing anyway. I'm not saying I agree with Clark's decision with regard to Chloe, but I've long been fascinated by Superman's ability to make people forget.

That was the thing about truth, good or bad: it didn't go anywhere. )

Title: Odysseus
Author: ladybugkay
Fandom: Smallville
Pairing: Clark/Oliver (pre-slash)
Rating: PG-13
Word Count: 2714
Warnings: major spoilers for 8x01 "Odyssey"
Summary: It's a long, strange journey, making your way home, and you're never the same as when you left.
Disclaimer: DC and Gough/Millar and oh, so many others own the rights. This fic is purely for free entertainment.
A/N: For [livejournal.com profile] svgurl and [livejournal.com profile] saavikam77 , who have been having some rough times. This is basically the premiere as seen through Clark/Ollie slash goggles. (Or, what I saw when I watched the ep.) Also, I don't care that the writers screwed up or wanted to 'change' things: her name is DINAH, not Diana. She is Black Canary, not Wonder Woman. Just like it's J'onn. (And my but this thing got longer than I expected.)

Title: Consumer Satisfaction (or, The Best Laid Plans)
Author: ladybugkay
Fandom: Smallville
Pairing: Clark/Oliver
Rating: PG-13
Word Count: 1356
Spoilers/Warnings: based off season 8 premiere promo photos. Kind of cracky. Poor writing. Weak humour.
Summary: Wherein Oliver is a good consumer and is suitably enamored of his purchase.
Disclaimer: DC, Warner Brothers, the CW, Gough and Millar, and who knows how many others own the rights. I fic for fun only.
A/N: After seeing pictures from the season 8 premiere that seem to suggest Oliver buying Clark out of a bad situation, I got my first teensy bit of Clark/Oliver inspiration in about a year--which probably explains the weakness of the writing. Sadly, it's been so long I've sacrificed my Oliver icon. Also, this borders on crack. Actually, I think it's crossed the border. (Illegally, but once it got there, it had no intention of leaving.)

Oh, he likes the sound of that, of having Clark. )-

Smallville episode "Apocalypse:"

YES!!!! THAT'S WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT!!!!

That was a great episode. Good directing by Tom Welling, great story (aside from the Lana stuff, because I just don't care about her).

And Clark! In glasses

And Lois.

And the Clark/Lex scene. And the Clark/Lois scene.

Why can't all the episodes be like this one?

Title: Drag Your Feet (Just One Moment More)
Author: ladybugkay
Fandom: Smallville
Pairing: Clark/Destiny
Rating: PG
Word Count: 500
Warnings: Angst. Spoilers through 7x11 (but you don't need to have seen any episodes of the show, really.)
Summary: Clark has his reasons for not becoming Superman just yet.
Disclaimer: DC and Gough & Millar own the rights. I'm just doing this for fun.
A/N: I had to write this one to get past my own irritation with the current stagnation of Clark's life and the seeming reluctance to allow his character to progress and evolve. (It's a bit meta.) It's been a while since I wrote fic for this show, mainly because it's been a long time since I've really enjoyed the show at all, and now this is my second Smallville fic in less than a week. Does this mean I need help?

Title: The Buck Stops Here
Author: ladybugkay
Fandom: Smallville (future)/DCU
Pairing: Clark/Lois (WTF? I wrote het Superman fic?!)
Rating: PG
Word Count: 790
Spoilers: through ep 7x11 "Siren"
Summary: Lois finds out. At some point after Clark gets his act in gear and starts working at The Daily Planet and being Superman, and after he and Lois become involved, she finds out he is Superman.
Disclaimer: DC and Gough & Millar own the characters. I'm just playing.
A/N: First, I never write het for Superman. Second, I have all but stopped watching Smallville, tuning in only when I'm doing something else at the same time so I don't really have to pay attention. And yet, I wrote Clark/Lois. It's all Erica Durance's fault for the scene when she's explaining to Clark that she had to break up with Oliver because she would never come first with him. So, blame her, if you want, and I understand if no one reads this -- I'm not even sure I like it. Italicized line at the beginning is actual dialogue from the episode.
If you don't watch Smallville: all you need to know is that Lois gets involved repeatedly with men who turn out to be either criminals or superheroes. The 3 relationships mentioned here are: a brief flirtation with A.C., who leaves to become Aquaman; a fairly serious relationship with Oliver, who leaves once without explanation and again after she learns he is Green Arrow; and Clark, who becomes a good friend, after a rocky start, and whose future relationship with Lois everyone knows.

Title: Open Eyes
Author: ladybugkay
Fandom: Smallville
Pairing: Clark/Oliver
Rating: R (for content)
Word Count: 1290
Summary: Follows "Denial," "Delay," and "Idle Thoughts." Oliver shows up to tell Clark he is back in town and has to wake him up. Revelations ensue. Ollie's POV again.
Disclaimer: DC and Gough & Millar own the pretty boys. I like to play with them, though.
A/N: This is the last one, I think, folks. I can't write sex scenes, but that is where this wanted to go. My apologies. Icon by [profile] thequeenmab

Title: Idle Thoughts (Clark Interlude)
Author: ladybugkay
Fandom: Smallville
Pairing: Clark/Oliver
Rating: R (for some sexual content)
Word Count: 1103
Summary: Follows "Denial" and "Delay." A few months after the season 6 finale, Clark drowses in the heat and finds his thoughts straying to a certain blonde.
Warnings: Clark's a bit of a brooder.
Disclaimer: DC and Gough & Millar own the pretty boys. I'm simply playing with them.
A/N: Because I had to give a bit of Clark's perspective. A lot did go on in the finale, after all. But you can read it after "Open Eyes" (link at the end) if you absolutely need all of your Ollie POV fics together. This one's also less funny and didn't quite come together, unfortunately. And this is my first real attempt at the sexy writing. I'm terrible at it. Sorry.

Title: Delay

Author: ladybugkay

Fandom: Smallville

Pairing: Clark/Oliver

Rating: PG-13 (for sexual suggestiveness)

Word Count: 1336

Summary: Sequel to “Denial.” After the season 6 finale, Oliver finds it necessary to return to Metropolis and…visit Clark, but it’s taking too long to get there.

Disclaimer: DC and Gough & Millar own the boys. I like to take liberties.

A/N: For [info]tmelange   who loved the first one and demanded a sequel. Sequels are never as good as the original, but I hope this works for you. (There will be more.)

Smallville Rant

So I ran across a rerun of Smallville the other day, and it reminded me of everything that bothered me about the show this season. (The past few seasons, to be honest.) Thus, the rant. If you don’t watch the show, or if you think it has no flaws, or if you really don’t care what I have to say about it, then I’d advise you NOT to peek under the cut. On the other hand, if you find it amusing how frustrated people can get by something that is not real life, look under the cut and have a good laugh. I can’t guarantee what I have to say is coherent or adheres to any format of structured argument. It’s a rant. It rambles.

Title: I Never

Author: ladybugkay

Fandom: DCU and Smallville

Summary: Crack!fic. Superman and Batman play a drinking game. The one where if you have done the something mentioned, you drink. If you’ve ‘never,’ you don’t.

Disclaimer: DC and Gough & Millar own them. I’m playing.

A/N: This idea snuck into my head while I was out buying milk, and I had to write it down. Sorry?

Title: Leaving Normal

Author: ladybugkay

Fandom: Smallville

Pairings: Clark/Lana (but not in a good way, don't worry), Clark/Lex

Spoilers: Season six, up to and including Lex and Lana’s wedding.

Disclaimer: Smallville belongs to Gough & Millar and DC and all those people. Not me.
