Spoilers: nothing specific, but let's assume you've seen all of series 1, okay?
Summary: Merlin might be in love with Arthur, but that doesn't mean he has to be happy about it.
Disclaimer: Oh, to be the BBC and own this version of the characters. Alas, I am not, and I do not make any money from this fic.
Note: This is mostly ramble, and it's a lot cheerier than the title might suggest. The title is from Pablo Neruda's "Sonnet XLIV," translated by Stephen Tapscott.
Note2: I really need to find a Merlin icon.
( Merlin always thought this sort of thing was supposed to make the sun shine brighter and your heart feel lighter, inspiring you with a general sense of well-being and joy. )
I really need a Merlin icon.
Title: listen close and you can hear the jester say

Warnings/Spoilers: When is a death fic not a death fic? When it starts with someone dying but the story doesn't end there. (Or, you know, when it's this show.) Future fic.
Summary: Morgana can't change the ending of a story that will echo through the ages, but maybe she can add a plot twist that will play out underneath it.
Disclaimer: The legend is pretty much public property, but the characterizations and most of the relationships owe a great deal to the BBC for their reinterpreation of Arthurian legend in Merlin.
Note: It seems I can't write Merlin fic without it being future fic, as well. Huh. This is just a bit of nothing written while I waited for the bus.
Additional 6 degrees-type note: The title is a lyric from a song called “One, Two Three” from the musical The Fix, which I first experienced about 10 years ago in the special Hey, Mr. Producer, as sung a young John Barrowman, whom I fell in love with then and who plays Captain Jack Harkness in Torchwood, which is a BBC spin-off of Doctor Who, where Captain Jack makes his first appearance, as does a character played by a certain actor we all know who went on to play Merlin. Small, twisty little world, isn’t it?

Fandom: Merlin (BBC)
Rating: PG-13 (for the innuendo)
Word Count: 729
Setting/Spoilers: future fic and no real spoilers for the show. Hell, you don't even need to have seen a single episode to read this one.
Summary: In the future, this is what they will say of Arthur and Merlin, and it will all be true, but it will not be all of the truth. So much exists between the lines.
Disclaimer: Oh, to be the brilliant BBC and everyone else who own the rights to these versions of the characters owned by no one. Alas, I am not and am making no money off this ficlet or any other.
A/N: I blame demon_faith entirely for getting me into this show and this fandom. So this one's for her.
( They were rarely apart. )
