pervyficgirlwhose birthday I missed due to computer problems. A/N2: I love Clark/Dick, but I don't write it. What is is, then, you ask? Why, this is what happens when lightning (also known as guilt) strikes in the form of inspiration for a belated birthday fic. Technically, this means I owe a few others belated birthday fics, too, but it all depends on the whims of my muses (which seem to be doing everything they can to distract me from fics I need to finish for deadlines). I was a Clark/Dick writing virgin before this, and I confess my first time was rather pleasant. I might try it again, sometime.

A/N: The first section was posted a little while ago as a drabbley thing, but then I wrote another one that seemed like it could be a prequel. So then I wrote two more drabbley things of similar length, and then I decided that I was experimenting with writing a strange, angsty ficlet of drabbley things in reverse. Hence, this story goes mostly backwards. If you're confused, follow the numbering. All in all, I think the experiment failed, but I still like a lot of the lines in this, so what the hell, right?
