I'm so happy the alternating POVs worked for you. In each of the scenes, when I watched them, these were the POVs with which I empathized, so it had to be that way when I wrote it.
I wanted to give him a hug, just like in the show. The emotions were done so well ... I could feel his pain.
The thing I really liked about that scene was the way Oliver was scared and so apologetic, and then when Clark 'died,' he went so still; he played the 'being in shock' very well.
And the ending was so cute. Nothing was too rushed and yet, the UST in this one was high.
LOL. I realized after I finished this that nothing whatsoever happened between them. It was all about the way they saw each other, without even noticing what the other person saw in them. All UST, baby. :D
