A/N: Sequel to Timing drabble.

 

The first time he sees Bruce again, Dick can’t breathe for fifty-eight seconds. He can’t speak for thirteen more, but it takes only the aborted hand movement Bruce makes for him to stop moving.

                                               

Bruce just looks at him, and Dick wishes he were younger so that he could grab Bruce and hold on and feel Bruce hold him, too. But it’s been too long since Dick has wanted more reciprocation than a hug. Yet when Bruce says his name, Dick finds himself stepping forward, and somehow Bruce is kissing him, and maybe Dick doesn’t have to think unrequited anymore.
