And yeah, I did kind of go with the darkest possible view of post-finale Smallville, but I wish the show would do something like this, anyway, or at least not play the get-out-of-death-free card every single time. So I'm a little bit heartless.
I do want to enter the overall story in the contest, but I wasn't sure it was enough about Oliver's return. Also, I don't know if I'll be finished by the Aug.4 deadline. I'll try; I'm looking desperately for my muses as we speak.
