I love how quickly you comment on something when I've posted. I don't know if I've told you before, but it makes me very, very happy. Especially when you comment on fics that I'm not sure if anyone will ever read.

I needed to write this, because I needed to understand what would make Clark so resistant to starting out on his journey to become the hero he knows he will be. And then I realized that choosing to become Superman, to be that 'saviour' for the entire world, to accept that monumental responsibility for the whole human race, well, that really is the end of Clark being able to live just as Clark Kent. Although he has his secrets now and his relationship problems, that is nothing compared to what will happen once he becomes Superman.
